Declining Vocations
By the early 1960's, fewer young women were choosing the vowed religious life. The reforms of Vatican II hoped to address this trend, but the numbers continued to decline. The Sisters of the Good Shepherd ran a series of advertisements in various Catholic publications in an attempt to attract interest to their work.
